    I never had the money to pay a company to do an “proper” overland- always ended up on trains and local buses instead. I know lots of people who have though and Exodus and Dragoman seem to get the top votes from the paying customers – so I think it would follow that they are the best to work for too – Dragoman definitly have the best quality trucks – which mean less time spent fixing them

    Try Volkswagen Westfalia Campers.

    Cheaper than a huge truck, sleeps 2 easily. Best year is a 1971 in my opinion.

    @Budget4WD – The Lonely Planet forum agress with you there, nothing like Dragoman for quality. Also they had a very rigorous process to pick new employees, good on them I say!

    @Paul – I’ve always loved the “Magic Bus”, unfortunately they don’t have a toilet/shower capability so aren’t my can of choise for a long expedition.

    @Frances – Thanks for your comment. Peru is “on my list” so who knows maybe someday I will. Also, thanks to Translate.Google.com I can read your blog! The wonders of technology hehe!

    Here we witness the true face of humanity. Imagine how different the world would be if we were all capable of doing what we wish. I of course mean this in the best manner possible; No mass murderers in the land of do-as-you-please, just freedom. You’ve quit your job and decided to travel, and I admire that. I only wish the sense of freedom that you must feel (Or that you will feel) were as readily available to all of us. You’ve dared to go where most humans fear to tread, and (the fates willing) you’ll likely love yourself for it. Godspeed man.

    @Goggles – amen.

    Good on you! There is nothing more fearful or uplifting as liberating yourself of “stuff” and taking on the world. If you believe, you can achieve. I look forward to following your blog.
