Hello all, how are you?
Well I have been doing some planning for my travels recently. Which makes a change to messing around with the look and feel of this site. (Which I hope most of you find ok).
So, what have I been up to?
Well I have come up with a “first draft” of the route, this is by no means finalised and there are going to be a few changes to it, but here it is draft numero uno. Official Travel Route of Overland Wannabe.

Looks like an amazing route, Scandinavia has always been a dream, so I’ll be very interested to see how it goes. How are you settling into non-working-life now that the initial adrenalin rush must’ve worn off by now? Any serious ‘gulp’ moments, or are you too focused on your projects?!

Haven’t been able to take a breath yet, moving the blog, selling my van and buying a new one an creating my own company… a little secret that I will post about soon.
Serious gulp moments have been the following… realisation that I only have two weeks to go and not got my van yet, nor sold my old car and that without doing so I cannot fund this trip. GULP!
I am sure it will all be fine, I hope! Thanks for having a look. Scandinavia is first on the list so stay tuned in April!

Awesome on setting your route. I’m leaving on my cross country (US) trip next Friday, March 20th. I’m not really setting a route, just going, exploring… taking my camera and enjoying the ride and the scenery. I’m taking about a month to get across and totally stoked about it. Best wishes on your trip!

WOW, fantastic route, i’m excited for you. So what van did you buy in the end? Please post some pics of it when you get it. I dont know if your still converting a van (dont think you have time to do you?) but this group will certainly be happy to help if you need it http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/VanDwellers.
